Hi, I'm Kathleen!  By now you've probably read this at least 4 times, but...I love to take pictures that bring people JOY!

What does that mean?

Beyond posing, lighting, composition, editing, and all that jazz, I want you to love your photos because of the emotion behind them.  

Let me be very clear. When it comes to working with children, I have NO shame.  I will act like a total bozo in front of an audience of my peers if it means getting a toddler to trust me enough to stay put and smile genuinely.  Call it a gift. 

Likewise, with adults, if we aren't having fun during our shoot then I haven't done my job.  If it's not fun, what's the point?

I also love to take photos that tell a story about who YOU are.  Hobbies, talents, interests, favorite places, stylized shoots... these sessions are my client favorites (and mine too) because they are always unique and just plain fun!  Some folks struggle with envisioning these sessions...that's where I come in.  After a consultation, we collaborate until we find the perfect location, theme, props, etc. to tell your story!

And if your vibe is the more traditional look, I'm here for that too!  Nothing brings ME more joy than bringing my CLIENTS joy by taking photos that they love!
